A Letter to My Students It is my purpose to help prepare you for the world: To help you realize that you possess the natural capacity    for inner growth and expansion; To encourage you to take responsibility for your actions    (what you think, feel, say and do); To show you how to base your actions on logical thinking,    not illogical emotional reactions It is my intension to offer you the opportunity to activate    your own special abilities and creative gifts. It is my purpose to ask you questions as you    explore the themes of life…    to help you develop a strong set of values, It is my purpose to assist you, as you learn how to uncover   and discover the truth about who you are, And discard those things you are not. It is my wish for you to be happy and successful So that you may find delight    in reaching for the stars and fulfilling your dreams. It is my wish that you respect yourself and others, And recognize that 'The Golden Rule' applies to everyone. It is my prayer to help you realize that it is a big world out there    and you are not the center of it - even though you hold much power. It is my hope that you will embrace the magic of life    and realize how truly incredible you are. It is my desire that you will keep an open mind and a giving heart. It is my wish that you develop a love and hunger for learning.
