● Our annual Triduum - three days of spiritual reflection to start the school year - begins TOMORROW (Wednesday). We will have a special assembly on Wednesday morning hosted by the Campus Ministry Department. Students will have an opportunity for reconciliation/confession on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday in religion classes. We will conclude the week with our Mass of the Holy Spirit on Friday. Students must be in formal wear (Salesian suits/ties) for mass.
● Our after school tutoring program has begun. Please refer to the tutoring schedule which you received in your email for the times and locations where you can receive extra help after school from 3:00 to 3:45 Monday through Thursday.
● New Salesian sweatshirts, polos, and t-shirts are now available at the student store. Stop by the main office if you would like to make a purchase.
Counseling Department News
● The counseling team has started meeting with our Mustangs to make sure they're off to a strong start! The first academic quarter ends in 3 weeks. Keep up with your studies.
● An admissions representative from California Lutheran University will be on campus TOMORROW (Wednesday). Students interested in attending the presentation must sign up using the Google Form sent to your email address.
● College application and essay workshops will take place this Monday and Tuesday in the Innovation Center. See Mr. Burke for more information.
Activities Department News
● Mustangs, the Back to School Dance is coming up on September 19th! Make sure to purchase your tickets before they sell out. For any questions regarding the dance, please reach out to any ASB member or Mr. Harper.
● Seniors! Your parents can start purchasing Senior Yearbook Ads for the 2026-2027 yearbook. We'll send information out this Monday night. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Parker.
Athletic Department News
● The JV and varsity football teams play at Damien this week - JV on Thursday at 4:00 pm and varsity on Friday at 7:00 pm. Go Mustangs! ● The cross country team races at the Woodbridge Invitational at the Great Park in Irvine on Saturday morning. Go Mustangs!
