Biography: Robert Burke has been an educator for 14 years. He began his teaching career as an elementary teacher at Resurrection School in Boyle Heights. He later became a high school teacher at Saint Joseph High School. Mr. Burke would later become an ASB Moderator, Educational Technology Specialist, and College Counselor at Saint Joseph High School. While at Saint Joseph, Robert was an instrumental part of the school's implementation of their iPad program and was a member of the school's academic and college guidance team, focusing on college data matriculation and strengthening the college application process for students. 

Robert joined the Salesian family in 2017 as the Counseling and Instructional Technology Director. In 2020, the College Board recognized Mr. Burke as an honoree for the College Board's Recognition Program. Since his time at Salesian, he has also served in other leadership roles as Campus Minister and is currently the Director of Student Activities. He is still a passionate teacher and teaches in the Theology and Visual/ Performing Arts departments.

Robert earned his BA in Religious Studies and Master's in Educational Technology from California State University, Long Beach. He also earned a second Master's in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University. Robert is a member of the American Counseling Association and has served on the leadership team for the WCEA/E3 accreditation and the CAIS (California Accreditation of Independent Schools) visiting team.
