Tuition Assistance

Thank you for you interest in the tuition assistance program at Salesian High School.  Each year, 95% of all students at Salesian qualify and receive awards based on income guidelines and unique family circumstances.  Our school is blessed with the generosity of many foundations and benefactors that keep the dream alive of a Salesian High School education for all interested families.  
The school offers two types of need-based awards:

1) Need-based awards that are funded by the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) up to $3,000

2) Need-based awards that are funded by Salesian High School (vary depending on family need)
Completed applications (CEF and Salesian Financial Aid) and a copy of the family's most recent tax return must be turned in to the school by the corresponding deadlines (see timeline below)

Incoming Freshman Financial Aid Timeline 2020-21 (Class of 2025)


16        Onward Scholars Program, merit-based, and Salesian financial applications available

26        CEF applications available (Cycle 1 & Cycle 2)

                        * Cycle 1 is through elementary school (current 8th grade CEF recipients)

                        * Cycle 2 is through hs (current 8th grade CEF recipients AND new applicants)



8          CEF Application deadline (Cycle 1 to ES or Cycle 2 turned in to Salesian HS)

29        Class of 2025 admissions, Onward Scholars Program, and Salesian financial aid application deadlines

Admissions, Onward Scholars Program, merit-based and financial aid applications, transcripts, and recommendation forms due to Salesian HS



5          Class of 2025 decision letters mailed (includes notification of financial aid qualification)

15-26   Incoming freshman registration meetings (financial aid packages offered to families)



26        CEF Cycle 4 applications available (for those that missed initial CEF deadline)



4          CEF Cycle 4 applications deadline – applications must be turned in by this date

                        * CEF Cycle 4 is for incoming 9th graders that missed the Cycle 1 & 2 deadlines
