Community:

Salesian High School is located in Boyle Heights community, just east of Downtown Los Angeles. We are conveniently located by the CA-5, CA-60, CA-10, and 101 freeways.  

 

Service Area: 

Salesian students come from all areas of greater Los Angeles County including East, West, and South Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, El Sereno, Lincoln Heights, Compton, Leimert Park, Alhambra, Echo Park, Silverlake, Mid-City, Montebello, Whittier, Hacienda Heights, La Puente, and many other areas including the Inland Empire and the San Fernando area.

 

School History:

Salesian High School opened its doors in 1958 and is in its 60th year serving the youth. 

 

Accreditation:

Bishop Mora Salesian High School is accredited through 2022 by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Curriculum:

Salesian offers a college preparatory program of studies that exceeds the University of California a – g entrance requirements. The curriculum provides a solid foundation for continuing education and for career development. Students are counseled and placed in courses based upon placement examination results, previous academic performance and
personal choice.
