Recently there has been news about the new COVID Variant that is affecting the youth; B.1.17.Research has shown that this variant originated in the UK and is now making its way to the US.For this assignment, I want you to research the B.1.17 variant and explain the following:
How did the variant come about 
How is the variant different from other variants
The population it primarily affects
What action is the CDC taking to prevent another surge?
Can the current vaccines stop it or is a new one going to have to be created.

I want to develop a page and half / 2-page paper to answer these questions. Please include the links for research on the last page.  I will be grading this a test worth 35 points. So please make sure it is well written. This is due Friday, 8am April 16
