Sophomore Parent Meeting Rescheduled & No School This Friday

At our Feast of St. John Bosco mass in January, Bishop Vann granted our school community two days off in recognition of the hard work and dedication of our Salesian Family during the difficult days of the pandemic over the last few years.

In light of the flash flood warning and difficult weather conditions predicted for our region for Friday, the administration has decided to use one of our Bishop's Holidays for tomorrow (Friday, February 24th).  This school closure will protect the health and safety of our employees and families who commute to campus.  In addition, we will be able to address some of the water leakage that we are experiencing on the third floor without students being present in the hallway.

Teachers will not post new assignments to Canvas for Friday.  We encourage students to use Friday as an opportunity to catch up on missing work in any of their classes.  Classes will resume on Monday, February 27th at 8:30 am.

I am sorry if this late notice of a schedule change causes any disruption to your plans.  However, I believe it honors Bishop Vann's generous reward to our students and staff while also protecting the health and safety of our school community.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Blessings to you and your family,

Mark Johnson
