Social & Emotional Guidance (CPLA)

CPLA (Counseling Partners of Los Angeles) counselors are a trusted and capable source of support for the entire school community. They create partnerships with students, parents, and teachers to help students achieve their goals. They work with parents to improve communication and provide interventions and guidance. They promote student success in the classroom by focusing on the critical connection between a student’s mental health and their ability to effectively take advantage of opportunities to learn. Counselors empower students to become their own advocates.
